THE MOTION CAPTURE LAB – NUMEDIART (UMONS)

We approached the technology of ” Motion Capture “, in collaboration with the NUMEDIART laboratory (UMONS), within the framework of the performance project ” The Secret Step “.

Within the framework of the project of spectacle ” The Secret Step “, come to discover the result of the 1st laboratories around the capture of movements and the choreographic mutation.  The work is nourished by the artistic identities of Benoît Nieto Durant / Bboy Tuk and Fabio Amato / Bboy Neo recognized for their track record and their singularity in the world of Bboying.

In a next step, this project will give rise to an Immersive experience using virtual reality and the production of 3D prints.

OKUS FOKUS IMMERSIVE

OKUS FOKUS IMMERSIVE is the immersive side of the OKUS FOKUS formula.
A series of choreographic productions realised through the use of motion capture and 3D modelling.

This production includes a series of 3D prints/sculptures of movement, as well as virtual ballets that can be viewed as virtual reality experiences.

A research project on motion capture and 3D modelling, with the theme of ‘choreographic mutation’.

In collaboration with the Poolpio company, Jean Wiliquet (3D motion designer) and the Blev company.

OKUS IMMERSIVE MINDUS – from PAPER to 3D –

The combination of OKUS MINDUS with OKUS IMMERSIVE. Enter the abstraction of movement.

Crystallize our mental movements in the form of a 3D object and experience, through automatic drawing, abstraction and “motion design 3d”.
